Emergency Care "First Aid"


PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
Emergency Care is a fundamental training course that teaches lay providers how to give first aid and emergency medical care prior to the arrival of Emergency Medical Services. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training is recommended as a prerequisite for the Emergency Care Program. Emergency Care is flexible in its design to meet the varying needs of students and facilities. The Course is modular, allowing trainers to emphasize specific illness and injury topics.
