Emergency Preparedness Overview


PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
Almost daily, the news reports stories of disasters (natural and man-made) that cause disruption, massive damage, and loss of life. For businesses, emergencies can cause damage to buildings and equipment, and also threaten the safety and health of employees. To prepare for an emergency, employees must have a clear understanding of their role should one occur.

This workshop is designed to provide a general understanding of various types of workplace emergencies. Participants will received emergency response training in a variety of areas including, earthquakes, other natural or man-made disasters, medical emergencies, handling suspicious packages, and other potentially hazardous workplace situations. This workshop is also designed to familiarize participants with company-specific procedures and to facilitate ERT teamwork and interaction.
